Tech Info
Play is intended to be run by a game manager (stage friend or tech person). They will have buttons to proceed between questions, and set answers. That page can be opened on other machines to move control around.
You will find the game controls at the bottom, with links to the various views in the bottom left.
The "Shared/TV view" is intended to be used as the two-up view for stream, and view for players in the room. Resize that tab to the aspect ratio you desire
Players could use the "Team [name] controls"
to enter answers on their phone (but no phones on stage, right?).
If playing with multiple teams, or the audience enabled,
the "Scoreboard overlay" is a chroma-keyed in green
and should put the scores in the right place on the screen
Playing with the audience:
- In the game manager view, there will be a room code for chat to join.
- They can either enter that at db.tea-cats.co.uk or
go direct to https://db.tea-cats.co.uk/room/[room code].
- You can see how much of the audience has voted by their score box filling up.
- Audience score is calculated as an average of all their answers.
